Traditional and Nontraditional Clinical Sites for UT
The UT Nursing Program places students in multiple clinical facilities with a variety of acute and community settings.   Because the Nursing Program has a community-based curriculum with a service learning model of care for residents of the City of Toledo, students may practice in a critical care unit to a homeless shelter or elementary school.  Our Nursing Program is dedicated to promoting health and advancing the knowledge of residents of our city.  The tradition of nursing has been one of caring service to others for many decades and this value is handed down to our students whereby they are expected to be accountable and available to serve the public in any capacity they can.
