Welcome from the Dean

Timothy Gaspar, PhD, RN

Welcome to the College of Nursing at The University of Toledo!  Are you looking for a career change? A new direction in nursing?  The next level of your education?  Then you’ve come to the right place.

UT faculty are expert teachers, researchers and clinicians.  They are authors of books, chapters, and articles and serve as consultants to other colleges and programs.  Faculty are very supportive and are available to help you learn.

Our classrooms, especially in the Collier Building where many nursing courses are taught, are wired to bring the world to you and take you to the world.  Many courses are totally online, saving you a drive to campus and allowing you to “come to class” at any time.  As a state-supported institution of higher learning, tuition is among the lowest in the area.

Our doctoral (DNP), master’s (MSN), bachelor’s (BSN), and associate degree (AASN) programs prepare nurses for careers, not just jobs.  Through our full range of educational programs, you can reach your potential and discover the challenge and excitement that nursing offers.  Our Continuing Education Department helps graduates stay current.  Browse our Website and feel free to contact us at admitnurse@utoledo.edu.

Best Wishes,

Timothy Gaspar, PhD, RN
Dean and Professor
