With the rapid growth and turnover of health sciences information, information skills are more important than ever before. A skilled practitioner needs to be able to identify gaps in his or her knowledge and be able to find, evaluate, and use information to fill these gaps.
The Raymon H. Mulford Library has a commitment to providing quality instruction in information-seeking skills and the use of information resources for faculty, staff, and students. The Instruction portion of the Library's Web pages includes wide range of materials: training schedules, information on specific information resources, information for courses in which our librarians have guest lectured and for our personal information management elective, online tutorials including our NEW MEDLINE Tutorials, and help sheets, our new Step-by-Step Database Search Guides, information for faculty, and more. If you have any questions about the Library's instructional services, please contact Maria Melssen, MLIS, Reference/Education Librarian, at (419) 383-4214 or Maria.Melssen@utoledo.edu.
