Often, the Library is viewed as serving two educational purposes: (1) it is a quiet place to study and do research, and (2) it provides access to information needed for study and research. As the Mulford Library strives for these two purposes, there is a third educational purpose served by the Library: providing instruction so that students can develop the life-long learning skills needed to survive in a world where new information is generated at a phenomenal rate.
The Library is committed to providing training opportunities for all Medical University faculty, staff, and students. The following pages provide information for making the most of the Library as an instructional tool.
