Biographical Sketch:

Professor Chapman received her Master of Science Degree in 1997 in Occupational Therapy and her Bachelor of Science Degree in 1981 in Occupational Therapy from Eastern Michigan University. She served as an Assistant Clinical Instructor at the Medical College of Ohio since 1990 prior to assuming her current position as Clinical Assistant Professor & Coordinator of Professional Development in 1996. Professor Chapman received her license to practice independently as a Chemical Dependency Counselor from the State of Ohio Chemical Dependency Licensure Board in 1998. She has served as a Senior Clinician in the Department of Rehabilitation since 1989. Professor Chapman is certified in Neuro-Developmental Treatment, with a specialized area of study in neurological rehabilitation throughout the spectrum of care, including both inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation. Although she has worked with a wide variety of patient populations, the majority of Professor Chapman’s clinical experience has been working with persons with neurological conditions.
