Postdoctoral Fellowship in Clinical Neuropsychology
We plan to offer a position to start Sept. 1, 2009. We will participate in the 2009 APPCN match. The training program will be as described below.
Introduction
Our postdoctoral fellowship in clinical neuropsychology is at the University of Toledo Medical Center (UTMC).
Primary clinical and research activities are conducted at UTMC, a hospital in Toledo, Ohio that is a Level 1 Trauma Center and the only area hospital that is a designated Primary Stroke Center. UTMC also has a 22-bed rehabilitation hospital (The Coghlin Rehabilitation Hospital) that specializes in rehabilitation of traumatic brain injury, stroke, and spinal cord injury. UTMC has been accredited by CARF for its traumatic brain injury, stroke, and spinal cord injury programs.
The University of Toledo has two campuses: the Health Science Campus, which includes UTMC and also offers academic programs for physicians, nurses, physician’s assistants, and graduate programs in occupational therapy and physical therapy; and the Main Campus, which offers a variety of academic programs including a doctoral program in Clinical Psychology.
The fellowship is administered through Rehabilitation Services of UTMC. UTMC provides the financial support for the fellowship. The fellow's formal appointment is as a postdoctoral fellow at UTMC.
