Assistant/Associate Professor
The Department of Neurosciences at the University of Toledo, College of Medicine, invites applications for a 12 month, tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. Qualified candidates must have a Ph.D. or M.D. degree, and experience teaching human gross anatomy. The candidate will be expected to participate in the team taught medical anatomy and embryology lecture and laboratory course. Experience or interest in teaching in additional department areas including Medical Neuroscience, Microanatomy, or graduate neuroscience courses would also be viewed favorably. While this position involves a significant amount of teaching, it also offers an excellent opportunity to participate and advance in either of our strong research programs in neurosciences or medical education. The successful candidate will be expected to establish or maintain an active research program in one of these fields. The Department provides outstanding facilities and expanding opportunities for collaborative research as well as participation in the Neurosciences and Neurological Disorders and other graduate training programs.

The Department of Neurosciences at the University of Toledo, College of Medicine (UTCOM) seeks applicants for a full-time tenure-track position at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. Candidates should hold an M.D. and/or Ph.D. in developmental, molecular, or cellular neurobiology, synaptic physiology, or cellular/whole-brain imaging. Candidates should have established themselves in one or more of these areas as indicated by research experience, publications, external funding, and reputation. The successful applicant is expected to establish a vigorous, externally funded research program at UTCOM. Contributions to the School of Medicine in teaching Gross Anatomy, and to the Graduate School for Biomedical Sciences in teaching, training and graduate program development in Neurosciences are also expected. The level of appointment will be commensurate with experience and accomplishments in these areas.
