Research Interests:
Software development for use in teaching and learning human anatomy at the undergraduate, graduate, professional and post-graduate levels. Developmental Biology of the cardiovascular and visual systems.
Research Summary:
Until 1997, my research laboratory was involved in research in the developing vertebrate cardiovascular and visual systems. The primary techniques employed were electron microscopy and immunohistochemistry. Over the past decade, research interests have shifted to the development of educational software to aid in the instruction and learning of gross anatomy and histology .
