Salary PGY-1, $41,566 PGY-2, $42,813 PGY-3, $44,097 PGY-4, $45,420 Residents are allowed $2000 to be used for books, tools and conferences over the 4-year period.

Call Schedule PGY4 residents are on call 2 nights per month, PGY3 residents are on call 5 nights (including one weekend night) per month, PGY2 residents are on call 6 nights (including three weekend nights) per month.
Health Care/Dental Insurance UT resident physicians are eligible to participate in comprehensive major medical and dental plans. A partial premium payment is required. Residents may choose between single or family coverage and contributions are payroll deducted. Optical and prescription plans are also available.
Long Term Disability Provided without charge to residents
Life Insurance A ten thousand dollar policy is provided without cost to residents. Optional dependent life insurance is available and requires a minimum of monthly contributions.
Malpractice/Liability Insurance Full coverage by UT as long as the resident is functioning within the scope of the residency program
Uniforms White coats and name tags are provided throughout the residency program.
