Medical Staff Services : Practice Guidelines for Sedation and Analgesia by Non-Anesthesiologists Training

The University of Toledo requires that attending physicians who wish to administer moderate sedation to adults and/or pediatric patients must be properly privileged through the Medical Staff Office. Privileging requirements are: (1) the performance of at least ten adult moderate sedation procedures and/or at least ten pediatric moderate sedation procedures within the last year or (2) the completion of this training program.

View the practice guidelines video in its entirety, and then complete an online quiz. Enter your Novell NetWare username and password when prompted by the Sedation Training dialog. A passing score will generate a certificate which will be sent to your email account. Notification of your completion will be automatically logged into an internal database for the Medical Staff Office's records.
