Pulmonary/Critical Care Fellowship Overview
The Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine consists of 15 full time physicians and basic scientists engaged in patient care, teaching, and research. These activities take place at UT and University of Toledo Medical Center, plus St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center and the Regional Center for Sleep Medicine, along with basic research laboratories at the University of Toledo. Community wide there is a strong interaction with St. Luke's Medical Center, Flower Hospital, Regency Hospital and The Toledo Hospital. An outreach program incorporating multiple community hospitals and clinics (Wauseon and Bellevue) in Northwest Ohio is highly active. This wide distribution of clinical exposure affords a broad spectrum for training in Pulmonary and Critical Care Diseases. A seperate Sleep Fellowship year is available for those interested in full sleep certification.
