It is a tradition at the University of Toledo to honor our faculty members for their teaching endeavors. Excellence in teaching is recognized by the students with a Golden Apple Award, and the Vice President for Academic Affairs sponsors an awards dinner. However, there are numerous faculty who devote a great deal of time and service to the institution in areas other than teaching. The Board of Directors of the Faculty Club preserves an annual tradition of recognizing a faculty member who has performed outstanding service to the institution. Each year nominations for this award are solicited from the UT faculty based on stated criteria. The awardee is then determined by ballot of the Faculty Club Board. The Faculty Club is honored to recognize the following individuals as recipients of its prestigious award.
