Coordinator of Fieldwork Education

We seek an occupational therapist to oversee fieldwork education in the occupational therapy doctorate program and assure compliance with accreditation standards for fieldwork education.  This position involves managing fieldwork student placements including collaborating with fieldwork sites to establish and maintain fieldwork placements, monitoring student progress while on fieldwork placements, collaborating with the clinical education secretary, and teaching fieldwork seminars and other content within one’s areas of expertise.  This is a 12-month, halftime (.5 FTE) position that complements a second .5 FTE position that also supports our fieldwork program.

Requirements include certification as an occupational therapist by NBCOT, licensed in Ohio, a master’s degree, and the ability to mange the multi-faceted fieldwork education program. Desirable qualifications include clinical expertise, teaching experience, fieldwork supervision in clinical settings, and memberships in AOTA and OOTA.
