Dana Conference Center : Special Features

All of the meeting rooms in the conference center can be equipped with quality presentation equipment. The standard items are included as part of the rental with most meetings. All rooms have wall mounted projection screens and marker boards. Testing, maintaining and positioning the equipment for the most effective presentation is also important and part of the tasks that the conference staff take pride in doing for you. Specialty equipment rentals can be arranged on your behalf through the conference center, if the equipment is not available in-house. Non-standard items that are available include wireless microphones, cordless laser pointers and slide projector controllers, extra screens, video projectors, audio conferencing phones, presentation or signage easels, and other support equipment.

The center has two satellite reception dishes to acquire either C-band or Ku-band video teleconferences. Most rooms within the building are connected to the video distribution grid so it is possible to scale the size of the room (or rooms) to the approximate number of people in your audience. Since this equipment is operational at all times, you may find teleconference costs at the center are more reasonable than renting mobile equipment.

Regular telephone lines are available in each meeting room. High-speed network lines (10 Base T) are also available. In some rooms it is possible to supply multiple telephone lines.
