Savvy seniors and those who care about them can call 1-800-222-2225 for a free copy of the Resource Directory for Older People, a comprehensive listing of services and organizations compiled by the National Institute on Aging (NIA) and the Administration on Aging (AoA). The directory contains listings of almost 300 public and private organizations. "The recently updated resource directory is like a Yellow Pages specifically for older people," said Dr. Richard J. Hodes, the NIA director. "We are pleased to join forces with the Administration on Aging on this project." . For more info: www.aoa.gov and www.nia.nih.gov . A single hard copy is also available free of charge by calling 1-800-222-2225 or 1-800-222-4225 (TTY).

The Center for Successful Aging is funded by the Clair Martig Endowment through The University of Toledo Foundation.
